Book theory test with special requirements
This short article is about taking driving theory tests in languages other than English. Some people would like to take their theory test in the United Kingdom but they are afraid that their English is not good enough to manage the instructions. There is some good news for them! It is possible to choose some special requirements as you book theory test. Tests are available in the following languages: Arabic, Cantonese, Hindi, Kurdish, Polish, Spanish, Turkish and Welsh, to name just a few. Candidates are given headphones so that they can listen to translation of all instructions and multiple choice answers that appear on the screen. If you wish to take your test in a language that is not required, you might need the help of a sworn translator. He or she will be present during the test. I lived in Poland for several years and I must say that the procedures are a bit more complicated there. It is not possible to book theory test choosing many special requirements. People who do not know Polish have to take an oral examination with the help of a sworn translator. Of course, it is the responsibility of the examinee to pay for the translator"s services. I guess this form is not chosen very often. After all, taking an oral examination can be much more stressful!
